THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 440 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...SOUTHEAST DAKOTA
WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...PIERCE

AT 345 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY RADAR OVER
SOUTHEAST DAKOTA COUNTY OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND OVER PIERCE
COUNTY OF EXTREME WESTERN WISCONSIN.  NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FUNNEL
CLOUDS WERE RECIEVED FROM THE HASTINGS AREA OF DAKOTA COUNTY.
CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE HASTINGS AND ELLSWORTH.
MOVEMENT OF THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS TO THE EAST AT 10 TO 15
MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNAzDO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
