...NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER OHIO VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON...

NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER PARTS OF KENTUCKY AND
SOUTHERN INDIANA. AT 2 PM EDT..OR 1 PM CDT THE STRONGEST STORMS
WERE LOCATED ABOUT 50 MILES NORTHWEST OF LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY AND
COVERED PARTS OF ORANGE AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES IN INDIANA INCLUDING
THE AREA BETWEEN SALEM AND FRENCH LICK.

OTHER STRONG STORMS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY BETWEEN
LEXINGTON AND JACKSON. ALL THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT
ABOUT 30 MPH.

VERY WARM..HUMID AND UNSTABLE AIR WILL REMAIN OVER THE REGION THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE STORMS WILL ALSO REMAIN SCATTERED ACROSS
THE AREA. THE STRONGEST STORMS MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL..STRONG AND
GUSTY WINDS AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. SEEK SHELTER AS THESE STORMS APPROACH
AND REMAIN INDOORS UNTIL THEY PASS.
