THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 2 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL KENTUCKY...ROCKCASTLE AND LINCOLN

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.

AT 1030 PM EST THE FIRE CHIEF AT BRODHEAD...25 MILES NORTHWEST OF
LONDON...REPORTED NUMEROUS ROADS CLOSED AND CREEKS AND STREAMS...
INCLUDING THE DIX RIVER...NEAR OR ABOVE FLOOD STAGE. MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAIN WAS FALLING WITH RADAR INDICATING 2 TO 3 HOURS MORE STEADY RAIN.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS ROADWAYS COVERED WITH FAST MOVING WATER OR
WATER OF AN UNKNOWN DEPTH.  IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA PRONE TO FLOODING..
