NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORFOLK NE 641 PM CDT TUE JUL 29 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 710 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...NORTHERN ANTELOPE AT 635 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY THE POLICE 4 1/2 MILES TO THE NORTH OF ORCHARD IN NOTHREN ANTELOPE COUNTY MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER IF POSSIBLE...OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
