THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...NORTHERN CEDAR

AT 735 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
YANKTON SOUTH DAKOTA OR ABOUT 55 MILES TO THE NORTH OF NORFOLK
MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

 PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER
IF POSSIBLE...OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.

 THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION...PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF
STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY IN A BASEMENT SHELTER OR IN THE
CENTRAL PART OF THEIR HOMES.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
REINFORCED SHELTER.

 A TORNADO.. WATCH.. IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA UNTIL
 11 PM CDT THIS MONDAY EVENING.   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
 THAT WAS IN EFFECT FOR MADISON COUNTY OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA HAS
 BEEN CANCELLED.
