THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 640 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...WESTERN KNOX

AT 610 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 55 MILES
NORTHWEST OF NORFOLK...OR 10 MILES WEST OF VERDIGRE...IN EXTREME
WESTERN KNOX COUNTY.  MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH.

PERSONS IN VERDIGRE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATLY.

 PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER
IF POSSIBLE...OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
