THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...NORTHERN CEDAR

AT 545 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO NORTHERN CEDAR
COUNTY OF NORTHEAST NEBRSAKA.  THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
35 MPH.

 REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

 THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODCUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY.

INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO MOVE ACROSS PARTS OF WEST CENTRAL
AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA THIS EVENING.

AT 505 PM CDT A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN
CUSTER COUNTY.  THIS THUNDERSTROM WAS 5 MILES WEST OF OCONTO NEBRASKA
OR ABOUT 35 MILES EAST OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA MOVING TO THE EAST AT
20 MILES AN HOUR.

PERSONS IN THE VICINTIY OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS CAN EXPECT HAIL..LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN..GUSTY WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
