000 TTAA00 KOFK 292044 SVROFK NEC103-015-292140- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORFOLK NE 344 PM CDT SUN JUN 29 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 440 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...KEYA PAHA AND BOYD AT 340 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NEAR SPRINGVIEW IN KEYA PAHA COUNTY INTO WESTERN BOYD COUNTY AROUND NAPER MOVING TO THE EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS AT SPRINGVIEW BETWEEN 315 AND 325 PM CDT THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON. REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA. THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.
