THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY OF

NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...WHEELER

AT 1028 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDING FROM ABOUT 80 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORFOLK AROUND ORD
TO 75 MILES WEST OF NORFOLK OR ABOUT 20 MILES TO THE NORTH OF
BURWELL  MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

 REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

 THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY.

  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCHES REMAIN IN EFPFECT FOR PARTS OF NORTH
 CENTRAL NEBRASKA UNTIL 2 AM CDT SUNDAY MORNING AND FOR ALL OF
 NORTHEAST NEBRASKA UNTIL 3 AM CDT SUNDAY MORNING.

ARTHUR COUNTY OF WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA WHICH IS ABOUT 55 MILES
NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA.  THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST
AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

PERSONS IN THE VICINITY OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS CAN EXPECT SOME HAIL..
HEAVY RAIN..GUSTY WIND AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
