NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORFOLK NE 926 PM CDT SAT JUN 21 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1005 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...BLAINE...BROWN...LOUP AND ROCK AT 9 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING AINSWORTH TO NORTH PLATTE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
