THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...SOUTHERN MADISON

AT 925 PM CDT WEATHER RADAR AT NORFOLK SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORFOLK MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
AT ITS PRESENT MOVEMENT IT SHOULD REACH MADISON BY 945 PM.

 REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

A SMALL BUT STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAD DEVELOPED OVER WEST CENTRAL
NEBRASKA THIS AFTERNOON.

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAD DEVELOPED 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF ARNOLD
NEBRASKA IN CUSTER COUNTY AT 510 PM CDT.  THIS WOULD BE ABOUT 35 MILES
NORTHEAST OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA.  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING
EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

PERSONS IN THE VICINITY OF THIS THUNDERSTORM CAN EXPECT SOME BRIEF
HEAVY RAIN..SMALL HAIL..AND GUSTY WIND.
