000 TTAA00 KOFK 262116 SVROFK NEC089-015-262145- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORFOLK NE 316 PM CST SAT APR 26 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHERN HOLT AND EASTERN BOYD AT 310PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 15 MILES NORTH OF ONIELL IN HOLT COUNTY MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED BY THE PUBLIC 15 MILES NORTH OF ONIELL. REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA. THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY. A TORNADO WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT UNTIL 900PM CST. THIS EVENING FOR PARTS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST NEBRASKA AND ADJACENT AREAS OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN IOWA.
