000 TTAA00 KIND 170059 SVRIND INC005-170130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 759 PM EST MON JUN 16 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF CENTRAL INDIANA...BARTHOLOMEW AT 755 PM EST...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 40 MILES SOUTH OF INDIANAPOLIS...NEAR CAMP ATTERBURY. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 MILES AN HOUR. THE CITY OF COLUMBUS IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR...LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF THE AREA AND BOUNDED IN THE SOUTH BY A LINE FROM TERRE HAUTE TO PORTLAND WHICH IS ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF FORT WAYNE. MEANWHILE..A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN NORTHEAST INDIANA FROM JUST SOUTHWEST OF FORT WAYNE TO TOLEDO OHIO.
