000 TTAA00 KIND 170047 SVRIND INC081-013-170115- BULLETIN...IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 745 PM EST MON JUN 16 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM EST FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING CENTRAL INDIANA COUNTIES OF SOUTHERN JOHNSON AND NORTHEAST BROWN AT 740 PM EST RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30 MILE SOUTH OF INDIANAPOLIS. MOVING SOUTBEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR..LARGE HAIL..FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLE HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW AREAS. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 200 PM EST MON JUN 16 1986 THE TORNADO WATCH ISSUED EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT FOR THAT PART OF INDIANA NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM FOWLER IN BENTON COUNTY TO AUBURN IN BEKALB COUNTY OF NORTHEAST INDIANA. THE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF THE AREA AND BOUNDED IN THE SOUTH BY A LINE FROM TERRE HAUTE TO PORTLAND WHICH IS ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF FORT WAYNE. MEANWHILE..A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN NORTHEAST INDIANA FROM JUST SOUTHWEST OF FORT WAYNE TO TOLEDO OHIO.
