SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 200 PM EST MON JUN 16 1986 THE TORNADO WATCH ISSUED EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT FOR THAT PART OF INDIANA NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM FOWLER IN BENTON COUNTY TO AUBURN IN BEKALB COUNTY OF NORTHEAST INDIANA. THE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF THE AREA AND BOUNDED IN THE SOUTH BY A LINE FROM TERRE HAUTE TO PORTLAND WHICH IS ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF FORT WAYNE. MEANWHILE..A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN NORTHEAST INDIANA FROM JUST SOUTHWEST OF FORT WAYNE TO TOLEDO OHIO. NO SEVERE WEATHER WAS REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.
