000 TTAA00 KIND 162324 SVRIND INC109-170000- BULLETIN...IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 625 PM EST MON JUN 16 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM EST FOR PERSONS IN EASTERN MORGAN COUNTY IN CENTRAL INDIANA. AT 620 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF MOORSVILLE. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR..LARGE HAIL..FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLE HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW AREAS. HENDRICKON

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 200 PM EST MON JUN 16 1986 THE TORNADO WATCH ISSUED EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT FOR THAT PART OF INDIANA NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM FOWLER IN BENTON COUNTY TO AUBURN IN BEKALB COUNTY OF NORTHEAST INDIANA. THE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF THE AREA AND BOUNDED IN THE SOUTH BY A LINE FROM TERRE HAUTE TO PORTLAND WHICH IS ABOUT 40 MILES SOUTH OF FORT WAYNE. MEANWHILE..A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN NORTHEAST INDIANA FROM JUST SOUTHWEST OF FORT WAYNE TO TOLEDO OHIO. NO SEVERE WEATHER WAS REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.
