THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES OF

NORTH CENTRAL INDIANA...EASTERN LAPORTE AND ST JOSEPH
SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN...CASS

AT 445 PM EST RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM
NEAR CASSOPOLIS MICHIGAN TO SOUTH OF KINGSFORD HEIGHTS...20 SOUTH-
WEST OF SOUTH BEND.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

THIS STORM IS CAUSING INTENSE LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. YOU
SHOULD SEEK INDOOR SHELTER AND STAY AWAY FROM PLUMBING AND APPLIANCES

REMEMBER THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
