THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL ILLINOIS...SANGAMON AND CHRISTIAN

AT 205 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THNDERSTORM 12 MILES SOUTH
SOUTHEAST OF SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS
EAST AT 20 MPH.

REMEMBER..A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
