THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL ILLINOIS...SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN...EASTERN MONTGOMERY AND 
 SOUTHERN SHELBY

AT 8 20PM, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 30 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SPRINGFIELD NEAR MORRISONVILLE.  THE STORM WAS MOVING
EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER..A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
