THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL ILLINOIS...CASS...MENARD AND LOGAN

AT 515PM, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED 45 NORTHWEST OF
SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS..NEAR HAVANA. ANOTHER POSSIBLE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM 40 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS..
JUST EAST OF BEARDSTOWN. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST
AT 35 MPH.

REMEMBER..A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
