EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHERN SHERMAN AND SOUTHERN VALLEY

AT 6 PM CDT...A TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 10 MILES EAST OF
BROKEN BOW MOVING EAST AT= 40MPH.
THE TOWNS OF NORTH LOUP...LOUP CITY AND ARCADIA ARE INCLUDED IN
THE WARNED AREA.

AT 5 30 PM CDT INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY IN
SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.  STORMS LOCATED NEAR LEXINGTON...NEAR
BROKEN BOW AND JUST NORTHEAST OF KEARNEY WERE LIKELY TO PRODUCE HAIL
AND EXTREMELY HEAVY RAIN AS THEY MOVE EASTWARD AT NEARLY 40 MPH.
STORMS HAD ALSO BEGUN TO DEVELOP IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS JUST EAST
OF RUSSELL AND 40 MILES NORTH OF RUSSELL.
IN BOTH SOUTHCENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS THE STORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE NUMEROUS DURING THE EVENING.
