THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

EAST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...MOODY

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA ARE
FLANDREAU..COLMAN..LONE TREE..AND TRENT.

AT 925 PM CDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30 MILES
NORTH OF SIOUX FALLS...ABOUT 7 MILES WEST OF FLANDREAU. THIS
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WAGRNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
