THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...WESTERN AURORA AND BRULE

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA ARE
KIMBALL AND WHITE RIVER.

AT 810 PM CDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES
EAST SOUTHEAST OF CHAMBERLAIN SOUTH DAKOTA MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.

 AT 810 PM CDT 50 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED WST OF KIMBALL.
EXTREMELY HEAVY RAINFALL..HAIL..AND WINDS GUSTS OVER 50 MPH
WILL ACCOMPNAY THIS STORM. MOTORISTS ON INTERSTATE 90 SHOULD
BE PREPARED TO STOP OR REDUCE SPEED WHEN ENTERING THIS SEVERE
STORM.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAG
ING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
