THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTHERN MINNEHAHA AND SOUTHEAST MOODY

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE DELL RAPIDS...
BALTIC...COLTON..AND TRENT.

AT 120 AM CDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES
NORTHWEST OF SIOUX FALLS...AND ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15
MILES NORTH OF SIOUX FALLS NEAR DELL RAPIDS. THESE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.*

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
