000 TTAA00 KFSD 210532 SVRFSD SDC035-061-067-210630- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD 1232 AM CDT SUN SEP 21 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...DAVISON...HANSON AND NORTHERN HUTCHINSON SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE MITCHELL... ALEXANDRIA..PARKSTON...AND DIMOCK. AT 1225 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MITCHELL TO 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MITCHELL NEAR FREEMAN. THIS LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AR1EA. THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT. KAPELA
