SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MACON GA 340 PM EDT TUE JUL 29 1986 AT 335 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN MACON SHOWED VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO CENTRAL GEORGIA. THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN LAURENS COUNTY NORTH OF DUBLIN..IN TREUTLEN COUNTY NORTHEAST OF SOPERTON AND DODGE COUNTY EAST OF EASTMAN GEORGIA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAINFALL STRONG GUSTY SURFACE WINDS, DANGEROUS LIGHTING AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. PERSONS LOCATED NEAR THESE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A SAFE PLACE IF CONDITIONS WARRANT. JWB/1941Z
