THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA...NORTHERN JENKINS AND NORTHWEST SCREVEN

AT 320 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN
JENKINS COUNTY NEAR THE JENKINS-BRUKE COUNTY LINE. THIS
THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR
AND WILL MOVE INTO SCREVEN COUNTY WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.

 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS DEFINED AS HAVING WINDS AT LEAST 58 MPH
 AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER. IF THREATENING
 WEATHER APPROACHES...TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS.

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY
 WINDS.
