000 TTAA00 KAHN 071220 SVRAHN GAC085-187-311-071330- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ATHENS GA 720 AM EST MON APR 7 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA...DAWSON...LUMPKIN AND WHITE AT 720AM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMMS WERE LOCATED IN TOWNS AND UNION COUNTIES OF GEORGIA MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS DEFINED AS HAVING WINDS AT LEAST 58 MPH AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS. IF THREATENING CONIDTIONS ARE SIGHTELD..SEEK REINFORCED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND..LARGE HAIL..VERY HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING.
