000 TTAA00 KAHN 071157 SVRAHN GAC291-071300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ATHENS GA 657 AM EST MON APR 7 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA...UNION AT 650 AM HAIL WAS OCCURING IN FANNIN COUNTY OUT OF A HEAVY THUNDERSTORM AND THIS STORM WAS MOVING TOWARD UNION COUNTY. THIS STORM ALSO WILL PROUDUCE SEVERE LIGHTNING AND LIKELY TO HAVE VERY GUSTY WINDS. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS DEFINED AS HAVING WINDS AT LEAST 58 MPH AND/OR HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...TAKE IMMEDIATE 1PRECAUTIONS.
