000 TTAA00 KMCI 080009 SVRMCI KSC121-091-080045- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY MO 609 PM CST MON APR 7 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...NORTHERN MIAMI AND SOUTHERN JOHNSON AT 605 PM CST...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES SOUTH OF LAWRENCE KANSAS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT 25 MILE AN HOUR. AT 600 PM CST... 3/4 INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED 10 MILES SOUTH OF LAWRENCE KANSAS. REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS.
