000 TTAA00 KDDC 110102 SVRDDC KSC055-110209- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 800 PM CDT WED SEP 10 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... SOUTHWEST KANSAS..NORTHERN HALF FINNEY COUNTY. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM TRACKING EAST ACCROS SOUTHWEST KANSAS WILL ENTER NORTHERN FINNEY COUNTY BY 815 PM CDT. THIS STORM WILL MOST LIKELY PASS JUST TO THE NORTH OF HOLCOMB AND GARDEN CITY. PERSONS IN AND AROUND THESE COMMUNITIES SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE SHELTER AND PRACTICE ALL SAFTEY RULES CONCERNING SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 340 PM CDT WED SEP 10 1986 THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEGUN BUILDING RAPIDLY DURING THE PAST HOUR IN EASTERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS. AT 330 PM CDT THE ACTIVITY IS LIMITED TO A SINGLE STORM MASS JUST TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF DODGE CITY IN NORTHEASTERN MEADE AND NORTHWEST CLARK COUNTIES. AT THE PRESENT TIME THERE IS NO INDICATION OF SEVERE ACTIVITY WITH THE DEVELOPING STORM7S. MOVEMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL THUNDERSTORM CELLS IS NORTHEAST AT 25MPH.
