AT 345 PM EDT..RADAR SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER TOOMBS, LONG, APPLING AND TATTNALL COUNTIES. THIS AREA WAS SOUTH OF CLAXTON AND LYONS AND NORTH OF BAXLEY AND JESUP. REPORTS FROM THE AREA WERE THAT HAIL TO ONE QUARTER (.25) INCH AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS HAD OCCURED. A TREE WAS DOWN NEAR THE PRISON AND COBB CREEK ON STATE HIGHWAY 147.
