THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 11 AM MST FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTHWEST IDAHO...OWYHEE

AT 1010 AM MST..RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 25 SOUTHWEST OF
MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE. THE VERY LARGE THUNDERSTORM SPAWNING
THIS WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST..TOWARD THE C.J. STRIKE RESERVOIR
AREA AT 10 MPH. ALL PERSONS IN THE GRASMERE/BRUNEAU AREA OF OWYHEE
COUNTY SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS FOR THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES YOU.. TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
A BASEMENT ... INTERIOR HALLWAY.. OR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR IS THE
SAFEST PALCE IN MOST BUILDINGS.  IF YOU ARE IN A CAR OR TRUCK..
DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE AWAY FROM THE FUNNEL. INSTEAD..LEAVE YOUR
VEHICLE FOR LOW GROUND.
