THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE
UNTIL 12 PM MDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTHWEST IDAHO...ELMORE..OWYHEE

AT 1045 AM MDT..WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO ABOUT 30
MILES SOUTH OF MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE. THE LARGE THUNDERSTORM
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH/
NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. ALL PERSONS IN EASTERN OWYHEE COUNTY AND SOUTHEAST
ELMORE COUNTY..INCLUDING THE TOWNS OF GRASMERE..BRUNEAU..MOUNTAIN
HOME..AND GLENNS FERRY SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS FOR THIS
SEVERE WEATHER.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES YOU.. TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
A BASEMENT..INTERIOR HALLWAY..OR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR IS THE
SAFEST PLACE IN MOST BUILDINGS. IF YOU ARE IN A CAR OR TRUCK..
