SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING RELEASE TIME CORRECTED ONLY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
305 PM CDT THU JUL 31 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:

IN NORTH ALABAMA
          ..LAWRENCE

AT 300PM CST RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE
RIVER AT THE NORTHWEST END LAWRENCE COUNTY. THIS THUNDERSTORM
HAS BEEN MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.  GOLFBALL SIZED
HAIL WAS REPORTED OUT THIS THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE RIVER ON THE
LAUDERDALE COUNTY SIDE.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ALSO REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330PM
FOR MARSHALL COUNTY.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING HAS EXPIRED FOR MADISON, MORGAN, AND
LIMESTONE COUNTIES... IT WILL NOT BE EXTENDED AT THIS TIME.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH, LARGE HAIL, AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER,
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
