THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1200 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

WEST CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN...NORTHERN MUSKEGON

THE DAM AT WHITE CLOUD FAILED AT 610PM EDT IN NEWAYGO COUNTY.  THE
FLOOD WATERS ARE MOVING DOWN THE WHITE RIVER TOWARDS THE CITIES OF
WHITEHALL AND MONTAGUE.  THESE FLOODWATERS SHOULD REACH THE CITIES
OF WHITEHALL AND MONTAGUE BY 10PM EDT.

PEOPLE IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD MOVE TO SAFE GROUND
IMMEDIATELY.

BOATERS SHOULD TAKE PRECAU^TIONS TO ALLOW ENOUGH MOORING LINE TO
ADJUST FOR THE RISING WATERS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED. TAKE ACTION TO SAFEGUARD LIFE AND PROPERTY.
