At ~0400 on 25 February 2005, a meteotsunami with a maximum wave height of 0.42 m was recorded at Geraldton. Tide gauges at Carnarvon and Jurien Bay also recorded meteotsunamis with small wave heights (<0.4 m) the same day; however, no extreme meteorological events in these regions were reported. (reference #11089)
