Berninghausen (1969) citing Repetti (1931) writes about waves that were observed on the north coast of Samar island on November 25, 1925. This earthquake could not be found in any of the available catalogs. Berninghausen might have mistaken this for the November 13, 1925 event. Tsunami probability ranking is assessed as “doubtful”.
