1888, July 30, 08h27m. Ligurian Sea, Italy. An underground shock accompanied by a rumble was recorded in San Remo (Castel Berigo). A fisherman on Pietra Lunga (a reef to the west of San Remo) saw the sea receding from the coast and washing back towards it twice, i = 3. (reference #2130)
