1827. Heck (1947) erroneously mentions a tsunami on the Aleutian Islands. In fact, an earthquake not accompanied by a tsunami did take place in the Commander Islands (Reference #414).
A volcano in Unimak, Alaska generated a tsunami in the Pacific Ocean in 1827 (Reference #95).
