- Winter Weather in Washington, December 17 to 25, 2012Several rounds of heavy snow fell across the East Slopes of the Washington Cascades between December 16th and the 24th.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 1 to 4, 2023A series of shortwaves tracked across Eastern Washington bringing several days of light to moderate snow fall. Snowfall was heaviest in mountains with amounts ranging from 10 to 20 inches. The low lands excluding Okanogan Valley received amounts ranging from 3 to 8 inches.
- Winter Weather in Washington, November 22, 2010One to 4 inches of snow fell over most western Washington lowland locations. The late afternoon commute took hours for some and one man was killed outside his car on Interstate 5 in Tacoma.
- Winter Weather in Washington, November 22, 2018During the overnight hours of November 22nd light freezing rain was noted in Grant County. A number of automobile accidents including a fatal accident occurred.
- Winter Weather in Washington, February 21, 2014Conditions on the 20th of February were generally mild for February standards with periods of light rain. By the evening and overnight hours, skies cleared and temperatures cooled just near the freezing mark.
- Heavy Snow and High Wind in Washington, December 17 to 18, 2024The region saw widespread snow with a strong moist system moving through the Pacific Northwest. It brought near a foot of snow to portions of the Cascades and northern mountains of Washington on December 17 -18. It was followed by gusty winds near 60 MPH Thursday afternoon.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, November 22, 2022A cold front swung through the region on the evening of the 22nd through the morning of the 23rd. It brought another round of widespread snow. It moved through quickly bringing most locations 1 to 3 inches.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, February 18 to 19, 2014Periods of moderate to heavy snow continued for the seventh straight day across the East Slopes of the Washington Cascades. A persistent westerly jet continued to feed subtropical moisture along just over the Cascades Crest.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 20, 2013A trough of low pressure had become established over the Inland Northwest by the 19th of December as a ridge of high pressure anchored over the Eastern Pacific.
- Winter Weather in Washington, December 5 to 7, 2024Prolonged stratus under an upper level ridge pattern brought periods of freezing fog and light freezing drizzle across the region. Locations across the region reported amounts of trace to 0.1 of ice accumulation.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 11, 2018During the day of December 11th a moist warm front developed over eastern Washington. The mountains and valleys of northeast Washington received heavy snow from this system, although the southern valleys switched over to rain late in the day.

- Winter Weather in Washington, September 29 to 30, 2019A powerful Arctic front swept through the Inland Northwest late in the month, bringing an stretch of record cold and even some wintry precipitation. At least one fatality occurred as a result of heavy snow in one of the mountain passes of central Washington north of Ellensburg.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, February 23 to 24, 2011Snow fell over much of western Washington. Amounts varied from 1-10 inches with one site in Mount Vernon reporting 16 inches.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Washington, February 4 to 5, 2020During the day of February 4th light snow developed along a stationary front laying west to east across central Washington and into the Idaho Panhandle.
- Debris Flow and Flooding in Washington, March 5 to 6, 2014The region was under a transitioning weather regime through the first week of March. March 1st came in dry and very cold under a modified Arctic air mass. This kept soil temperatures below freezing across much of the northeast portion of Washington.
- Winter Weather in Washington, March 16, 2011Rainfall along a cold front overnight on March 15th gave way to clearing skies during the early morning hours on March 16th. Radiational cooling dropped temperatures to below freezing in some spots in the Spokane Area.
- Winter Weather in Washington, December 14, 2013A combination of freezing fog and moisture from recent rains re-freezing to roadways created icy conditions during the evening of December 14th. A motorists traveling along State Route 211 lost control of his car, slid off the road, hit a ditch, and flipped the vehicle.
- Winter Weather in Washington, January 4, 2019Interstate 90 was closed in both directions for much of the day January 4th between North Bend and Ellensburg as a result of several multi-vehicle crashes that occurred prior to sunrise including 1 fatality (indirect).

- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, February 28, 2007A short wave trough associated with a very cold upper low brought areas of heavy snow to parts of the western Washington lowlands, including Western Whatcom County, Everett and Vicinity, Seattle/Bremerton Area, and East Puget Sound Lowlands.
