- Ice Storm and Heavy Snow in Washington, January 11 to 17, 2024A modified Arctic front moved into Western Washington. After producing some locally heavy snowfall on the Olympic Peninsula, it was followed by strong Fraser River outflow winds and several days of cold temperatures when a number of record low temperature records were set.
- Avalanche and Heavy Snow in Washington, February 17 to 19, 2012A strong front and moist westerly flow in its wake produced heavy snow in the Cascades. 3 different avalanches killed 4 and injured one.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 1 to 4, 2023A series of shortwaves tracked across Eastern Washington bringing several days of light to moderate snow fall. Snowfall was heaviest in mountains with amounts ranging from 10 to 20 inches. The low lands excluding Okanogan Valley received amounts ranging from 3 to 8 inches.
- Heavy Snow in Washington, November 19, 1996The first report of heavy snow came from Yelm, in Thurston county, with 4". Heavy snow then moved north and fell over the entire Puget Sound region. Up to twelve inches of snow fell over Western Washington.
- Heavy Snow and High Wind in Washington, December 17 to 18, 2024The region saw widespread snow with a strong moist system moving through the Pacific Northwest. It brought near a foot of snow to portions of the Cascades and northern mountains of Washington on December 17 -18. It was followed by gusty winds near 60 MPH Thursday afternoon.
- Extreme Cold and Heavy Snow in Washington, November 21 to 24, 2010An Arctic cold front combined with Pacific moisture to produce widespread heavy snowfall and very cold temperatures. Snow and ice created dangerous driving conditions which led to numerous accidents. Two fatalities occurred near Tieton on November 22.
- Heavy Snow in Washington, February 3 to 5, 2019A pair of storm systems brought significant snow to all elevations on the 3rd and 4th of February. Wraparound moisture from the first system brought 8 to 12 inches of snow to the Blue Mountains.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, November 22, 2022A cold front swung through the region on the evening of the 22nd through the morning of the 23rd. It brought another round of widespread snow. It moved through quickly bringing most locations 1 to 3 inches.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, February 18 to 19, 2014Periods of moderate to heavy snow continued for the seventh straight day across the East Slopes of the Washington Cascades. A persistent westerly jet continued to feed subtropical moisture along just over the Cascades Crest.
- Flash Flooding and Winter Storm in Washington, February 2 to 28, 1999Heavy snow of 6-15" each day was reported across portions of eastern Washington, especially the mountainous areas. Some sites included: Chewelah, Newport, Republic, Mazma and Lake Wenatchee.

- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 20, 2013A trough of low pressure had become established over the Inland Northwest by the 19th of December as a ridge of high pressure anchored over the Eastern Pacific.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 11, 2018During the day of December 11th a moist warm front developed over eastern Washington. The mountains and valleys of northeast Washington received heavy snow from this system, although the southern valleys switched over to rain late in the day.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, December 1 to 2, 2013A strong winter storm impacted the Inland Northwest in two phases. During the first phase, a deep trough of low pressure dropped southward from British Columbia into the region.
- Heavy Snow in Washington, January 18 to 19, 1996Heavy snow fell in most of Puget Sound. Snowfall varied from 4 inches in Seattle to 9 in Port Orchard. There were several accidents, with two involving injuries or fatalities. About 20,000 people lost power.

- Heavy Snow in Washington, February 22 to 23, 2013A potent and moist Pacific storm system slammed into the Inland Northwest from the afternoon hours of February 22nd through midday on the 23rd.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, November 19 to 20, 2010A cold and unstable air mass in combination with low level upslope flow brought heavy snow on the Waterville Plateau. A trained spotter reported six inches of snow in Waterville.
- Heavy Snow and Winter Weather in Washington, February 23 to 24, 2011Snow fell over much of western Washington. Amounts varied from 1-10 inches with one site in Mount Vernon reporting 16 inches.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Washington, February 4 to 5, 2020During the day of February 4th light snow developed along a stationary front laying west to east across central Washington and into the Idaho Panhandle.
- Heavy Snow in Washington, December 28 to 30, 1996After almost a foot of new snow fell, Yakima had a new record for snow depth with 27" on the ground. There were millions of dollars in damage to several warehouse roofs and dozens of buildings had partially collapsed roofs. I-82 from Yakima to Ellensburg was closed.
- Heavy Snow in Washington, December 28 to 29, 1996Another round of heavy snow hit most of the Puget Sound area. At 430 am Port Angeles had 15" new snow and 25" on the ground. In North Seattle the snow changed to rain at 6 am, but by that time they had 9" new snow and 22" on the ground.
- Avalanche and Heavy Snow in Washington, January 4 to 5, 2008A 13 year old girl died in an avalanche near Verlot. Strong winds accompanied this weather event in portions of western Washington as well along with heavy snow in the Olympics.
- Winter Storm and Heavy Snow in Washington, December 26 to 28, 2008A strong warm front brought heavy snow to much of Central and Eastern Washington. On the Palouse, gusty winds also contributed to poor visibility with blowing and drifting snow. This led to the closure of State routes 272 and 27.
- Avalanche and Heavy Snow in Washington, December 10 to 13, 2021A strong storm/frontal system moved across Western Washington Dec 10-11, bringing with it heavy mountain snow and high winds.
