- Ice Storm and Heavy Snow in Washington, January 11 to 17, 2024A modified Arctic front moved into Western Washington. After producing some locally heavy snowfall on the Olympic Peninsula, it was followed by strong Fraser River outflow winds and several days of cold temperatures when a number of record low temperature records were set.

- Cold in Washington, March 26, 2016He was found where alpinist Monique Richard, 41 of Canada, described last seeing her climbing partner Arvid Lathi, 58 of Norway, in the area of the Gibraltar Ledges route.|They began their climb on Saturday morning, March 26.
- Cold in Washington, January 28, 1996In Pasco, a woman froze to death after her pickup truck ran off the road and down a ravine.
- Cold in Washington, January 30, 1996A spotter reported a temperature of 27 degrees below zero in the Okanogan. In northeast Washington 2 men died of hypothermia when their car ran off the road. The coldest February temperature ever was recorded in Spokane that morning with -24.
- Cold in Washington, June 11, 2015A climber died near the summit on Mount Rainier. There were high winds and low visibility at the time.
- Heavy Snow and High Wind in Washington, December 25 to 28, 2021A very cold airmass pushed into Western Washington at the end of December, resulting in cold air amidst sufficient moisture and lift as a modified arctic frontal boundary slid south.
- Cold and Winter Weather in Washington, October 24 to 28, 2023A low pressure system off the coast of Vancouver Island pushed fronts throughout Western Washington, bringing lowland rain and first significant mountain snow throughout the area. A couple of record breaking lows were recorded along with maximum daily rainfall.
- Cold in Washington, December 18 to 24, 1998An extensive arctic airmass spread over the entire Pacific Northwest the week before Christmas. Temperatures fell sharply beginning December 18 and were coldest around the Winter Solstice December 21. High temperatures were only in the teens and 20s then.
- Cold in Washington, January 4 to 6, 2004From January 4th through the morning of January 6th extreme cold gripped eastern Washington. On the coldest morning, January 5th, Pullman reported minus 17,Turnbull Wildlife Refuge minus 34, Davenport minus 25, Spokane minus 22, Deer Park minus 28, and Springdale minus 32.

- Cold in Washington, December 5 to 6, 2013Cold High Pressure east of the Cascades combined with offshore winds and clear nights resulted in abnormally cold temperatures for Southwest Washington.
