- Winter Weather in Vermont, February 12 to 13, 2008Low pressure across the southern Mississippi River Valley on the morning of February 12th moved across the Ohio River Valley during the 12th and into New York and New England on the 13th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, January 18 to 19, 2015Low pressure tracked across eastern New England during the nighttime and early morning hours of January 18th-19th. The initial precipitation across Vermont was in the form of rain with air temperatures in the 30s to around 40 degrees.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, January 11, 2008Low pressure moved from the Great Lakes across southeast Canada on the 11th. An associated warm front lifted northeast across New England and delivered warmer, moist air above the surface (several thousand feet) that traveled over sub-freezing temperatures at the surface.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, December 30, 2006A significant mid-level disturbance, with an associated surface low, moved southeast across southern Vermont during the late morning and early afternoon on the 30th.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, February 1, 2011A weak mid-atmospheric disturbance and inverted surface trough moved across Vermont during the afternoon of February 1st. A light snowfall occurred for much of the afternoon and early evening before ending prior to a significant snowfall event on February 2nd.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, November 29, 2016A warm front moved across Vermont during the morning hours of November 29th bringing light amounts of precipitation. Precipitation in the form of freezing rain moved into central and eastern VT around daybreak and lasted for several hours with less than one tenth ice accretion.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, February 9 to 10, 2008A storm system moved across New England on the night of February 9th which delivered 2 to 5 inches of snow to portions of Vermont, especially central and eastern Vermont.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, January 7, 2000A cold front moved across the area ushering in colder air. Periods of wet snow accompanied the front with falling temperatures. Roads became very slick with numerous accidents reported. Accidents on I-91 resulted in closure of portions of that interstate around Ascutney.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, March 12, 1997Snow Squalls moved across western Vermont. The heaviest snow was concentrated in Chittenden County. Near whiteout conditions were reported with numerous traffic accidents. One death occurred in a traffic accident due to icy snow covered roads during the snow squalls.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, December 25 to 26, 2021Low pressure across the Great Lakes on Christmas Eve (December 24th) slowly traveled and transferred energy to a new coastal low near Cape Cod during the night of December 25th.

The primary storm center of this complex low pressure system moved across central New York on Sunday, February 23rd and then into the Canadian Maritimes.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, December 9 to 11, 2014Low pressure moved north along the eastern seaboard on December 9th and then stalled across New England through December 11th before lifting northeast into the Canadian Maritime. This storm was comprised of three phases.

- Winter Storm and Lightning Strike in Vermont, February 5 to 6, 2011A strong, potent upper atmospheric system, as well as a developing surface low, raced across the Ohio River Valley during the afternoon of February 5th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, January 2 to 3, 2010Record Snowfall occurred across the greater Burlington area on January 2nd into January 3rd.
- Winter Storm and Flooding in Vermont, January 12 to 14, 2018A very deep upper level trough from Central Canada to the Gulf of Mexico allowed for a warm, moist flow with temperatures in the 50s and 60s through the early evening hours of January 12th across VT.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, February 7, 2020A cold front straddled across NY and VT during the February 6-7th time frame. A weak system, moved across VT during the early morning hours of February 6th with snowfall of 1 to 3 inches along the International border to 2 to 4 inches across the southern half of VT.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, January 16, 2021A winter storm in the Great Lakes on January 15th, transferred energy to a developing coastal low of the NJ coast during the morning of the 16th. Precipitation began late evening on the 15th across VT with rain in the valleys and wet snow in the higher elevations.
- Winter Storm and High Wind in Vermont, December 9, 2009A very powerful low pressure system (980mb) moved across the Great Lakes into Ontario province Canada on December 9th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, January 8 to 10, 2019A weak surface low across the Great Lakes on January 8th received upper atmospheric support during the night of the 8th and developed a significant winter storm off the NH/ME coast by the morning of January 9th as it slowly moved into Newfoundland by January 10th.
- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, March 22 to 23, 2019Low pressure moved from the mid-Atlantic coast on March 21st and intensified rapidly as it moved to just off the Maine-New Hampshire coast on the 22nd.
