- Heat in Vermont, July 1 to 6, 2018A dangerous heat wave, one of which that likely hasn't impacted the North Country in decades occurred between June 30th and July 5th. High temperatures exceeded 90 degrees for at least 5 of the six days in many locations were above 85 degrees for 7 days.
- Flash Flooding in Vermont, July 10 to 11, 2024The remnants of TS Beryl combined with deep tropical moisture and a stationary front draped across the region produced multiple rounds of heavy showers and storms.

- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Vermont, August 28 to 31, 2011Tropical Storm Irene moved across southeast New York and southwest New England during the morning hours of August 28th and then proceeded to track north along the Connecticut River Valley in Vermont during the afternoon and evening.
- Flash Flooding in Vermont, July 9 to 11, 2023Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall affected Vermont from late afternoon of the 9th through the early morning hours on the 11th.

- Winter Storm and Winter Weather in Vermont, January 18 to 19, 2015Low pressure tracked across eastern New England during the nighttime and early morning hours of January 18th-19th. The initial precipitation across Vermont was in the form of rain with air temperatures in the 30s to around 40 degrees.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, January 11, 2008Low pressure moved from the Great Lakes across southeast Canada on the 11th. An associated warm front lifted northeast across New England and delivered warmer, moist air above the surface (several thousand feet) that traveled over sub-freezing temperatures at the surface.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, December 30, 2006A significant mid-level disturbance, with an associated surface low, moved southeast across southern Vermont during the late morning and early afternoon on the 30th.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, February 1, 2011A weak mid-atmospheric disturbance and inverted surface trough moved across Vermont during the afternoon of February 1st. A light snowfall occurred for much of the afternoon and early evening before ending prior to a significant snowfall event on February 2nd.

- Winter Storm and Flooding in Vermont, March 6 to 7, 2011On March 6th, a slow moving north-south oriented cold front, laden with copious amounts of moisture, entered western Vermont by late morning, central Vermont around midday and eastern Vermont by late afternoon.
- Damaging Winds in Vermont, July 23, 2016A significant cold front and strong mid-level disturbance caused numerous thunderstorms to develop in Quebec province Canada by late morning then travel and intensify across VT during the afternoon. Significant and widespread damage occurred with more than 20,000 utility outages.

Precipitation in the form of freezing rain moved into central and eastern VT around daybreak and lasted for several hours with less than one tenth ice accretion.

Strong winds combined with saturated soils from heavy rain resulted in many trees and power lines being blown down.
- Winter Storm in Vermont, March 4 to 5, 2008A powerful winter storm moved from the lower Mississippi River Valley on the morning of March 4th, into the Ohio River Valley during the night and then across New England on the 5th.
- Winter Weather in Vermont, February 9 to 10, 2008A storm system moved across New England on the night of February 9th which delivered 2 to 5 inches of snow to portions of Vermont, especially central and eastern Vermont.
- Winter Storm in Vermont, February 5 to 6, 2001A storm system developed off the coast of Virginia early Monday, February 5, 2001 and moved northeast . It moved across extreme southeast coastal New England late Monday night and into the Gulf of Maine early Tuesday, February 6th.
