- Blizzard in Utah, January 11 to 14, 1997A historic winter storm brought death and destruction to Utah during this 3 day period in January. Initially a moist westerly flow was in place over the state. Then a strong arctic front blew through on the 12th creating blizzard conditions.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Utah, November 23 to 24, 2010A strong arctic cold front moved through the state of Utah a couple days before Thanksgiving. This front brought blizzard conditions to northern Utah and very cold air to the entire state.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Utah, December 7 to 8, 2009A very strong, moist, and unseasonably cold winter storm struck the central intermountain region. Heavy snowfall occurred in most areas across eastern Utah and western Colorado.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Utah, January 20 to 23, 2010The third and strongest in a series of winter storms brought widespread snowfall across the mountains of eastern Utah and western Colorado, as well as rain and snow to the lower valleys. Strong south to southwest winds generated blizzard conditions over the southern mountains.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Utah, April 8 to 9, 2013An unusually strong, cold, and moist upper trough for April resulted in heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions in most mountain areas of eastern Utah, as well as extensive blowing snow in the eastern Uintah Basin.
- Blizzard and Winter Weather in Utah, February 16 to 17, 2011A Pacific cold front and a vigorous disturbance embedded in a southwest flow aloft combined to produce significant snowfall in the mountains of eastern Utah, as well as blizzard conditions in the mountains of southeast Utah.
- Blizzard and Winter Storm in Utah, November 23 to 24, 2010A vigorous Pacific trough tracked across eastern Utah and produced heavy snow with strong winds in some mountain locations during one of the busiest travel times of the year.
