- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Texas, May 23 to 28, 2015For several days, a stalled cold front, combined with abundant moisture from the Gulf of Mexico combined to produce widespread rain and thunderstorms in Texas.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Texas, May 24 to 26, 2007A cold front stalled across north Texas...providing focus for afternoon thunderstorms. There were several reports of hail and flash flooding.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, May 27 to 31, 2015The end of May brought widespread flooding to north and central Texas. By the end of the month, the region had essentially erased a four year drought in less than four weeks. Several area lakes were in surcharge capacity and releasing water downstream.
- Flash Flooding and Ice Storm in Texas, January 13 to 16, 2007Cold air in place in combination with ample moisture and an upper level disturbance caused a mix of freezing rain and rain to fall across North Texas. Dozens of winter weather and flash flood incidents were reported with this event.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Texas, March 7 to 11, 2016This was a multi-day severe weather and flood event. It started with a large-scale upper level low pressure system which deepened over the Four-Corners region. Moisture and instability increased in advance of this system.
- Tornadoes and Flash Flooding in Texas, May 1 to 3, 2007A split in the upper levels of the atmosphere steered several southern stream impulses into north Texas, producing flash flooding, strong winds, and a few tornadoes. The most impressive of these events was a derecho which moved through North Texas on May 2.
- Heavy Rain in Texas, October 14, 2013A 43 year old male was killed in Wise County when a semi jackknifed on a wet road and hit the oncoming car the male was driving. A 26 year old male was killed in Falls County when his car lost control on a curve in a heavy downpour and slid into an oncoming tractor-trailor.
- Flash Flooding and Hail in Texas, July 28 to 29, 2004Olney had 5 inches of rain with flash flooding in and around the city.
- Flash Flood and Hail in Texas, April 30, 2004Occurred on the north side of town.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, May 9 to 11, 2015Widespread severe weather and flash flooding occurred in addition to the outbreak of tornadoes.
- Flood and Heavy Rain in Texas, November 20 to 21, 2009Persistent rainfall over several hours in Collin County resulted in significant flooding in the Nevada, Josephine, and Blue Mound areas. Also, a two car accident in Collin County that killed three adults and injured three more people was the result of hydroplaning.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, August 18, 2012Numerous showers and thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall over the Dallas/Fort Worth area; resulting in flash flooding in Dallas, Tarrant, and southern Denton County. Rainfall rates up to 2 in 30 minutes were measured during the event.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, May 27 to 29, 2007An upper level low pressure system over the west combined with ample moisture over north Texas. Storms trained over the same areas, creating flash flooding.
- Damaging Winds and Heavy Rain in Texas, June 17, 1997Pwerlines down in San Leon and Baycliff. Roof blown off shed 6 miles south of the Kemah bridge. Roof on Spillway Pier blown off with debris damaging 2 cars.
- Tornadoes and Hail in Texas, April 26, 2011Another round of severe weather occurred on April 26th as another upper level disturbance rounded a larger upper trough and moved into north Texas. A warm front was draped across the region, and the environment was conducive for supercell thunderstorms and tornadoes.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Texas, May 1 to 2, 2011A prolonged severe weather event began during the early morning hours of May 1st and lasted into the overnight hours of May 2nd.
- Lightning Strike and Heavy Rain in Texas, December 21, 2013Slick roads caused by heavy rain resulted in 2 fatalities in Dallas. Lightning started a fire at a gas well in Somervell County.
- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Texas, May 2 to 3, 2009The combination of a southward advancing cold front, warm air advection over the cold front, and an approaching shortwave aided in an explosive period that began the afternoon of May 2nd and continued into the morning hours of May 3rd.
- Flash Flooding and Flood in Texas, June 15 to 17, 2026Multiple rounds of flash flooding occurred throughout Southeast Texas over the course of several days, leading up to Tropical storm Arthur.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, September 19 to 20, 2010On Friday September 17th, 2010, Hurricane Karl made landfall over central Mexico near Veracruz nearly 600 miles south of Corpus Christi Texas. However, well to the north of Karl, a very moist tropical air mass resided and became the focus for a significant rainfall event.

- Tornado and Flash Flooding in Texas, May 8, 2014Large scale lift ahead of an upper level shortwave, combined with ample instability and adequate moisture across the region, resulted in numerous thunderstorms across the region.
- Hail and Damaging Winds in Texas, August 26, 2003A porch was blown off a house north of Quinlan.
- Flash Flood and Flood in Texas, May 18 to 20, 2015An upper level disturbance interacted with an old frontal boundary and a tropical airmass to produce torrential rain across the Concho Valley and San Angelo. This very heavy rain caused flash flooding and resulted in many homes flooded and several swift water rescues.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in Texas, March 20 to 28, 2012A slow moving cold front moved to the Texas and Louisiana border through the afternoon and evening of the 20th. Flash floods, floods, and severe weather occurred along and ahead of the creeping boundary.
