- Hurricane and Flash Flooding in Puerto Rico, September 20 to 22, 2017Hurricane Maria was a catastrophic category 4 hurricane which devastated the island of Puerto Rico on September 20, 2017. Maximum sustained winds of 175 mph as it was approaching the county warning area.
- Hurricane in Puerto Rico, September 21 to 22, 1998Hurricane Georges began affecting Puerto Rico about 1200 noon with wind gusts to tropical storm force. By 600 pm most of the east sectors of Puerto Rico were experienced hurricane force winds.
- Hurricane in Puerto Rico, November 16 to 18, 1999Hurricane Lenny evolved from a tropical depression over the western Caribbean on Saturday November 13, 1999. The storm strengthened to a hurricane the evening of November 14 while moving on an unusual track to the east.
- Hurricane in Puerto Rico, August 22 to 23, 2000Debby formed on the 18th of August as a tropical depression about 1100 miles east of the Windward Islands. The storm moved west northwest and strengthened to a hurricane on the morning of August 22 just northeast of the Leeward Islands.
- Hurricane in Puerto Rico, October 20 to 21, 1999Hurricane Jose reached the northern Leeward Islands Wednesday night, October 20. As Jose continued to move to the northwest it weakened and by 1100 am Thursday morning Jose was downgraded to Tropical Storm.

It formed in the central Atlantic on the 3rd, strengthened to a hurricane on the 5th and passed northeast of the U.S. Virgin Islands on the 6th and 7th as it continued to stregthen.

It formed in the central Atlantic on the 3rd, strengthened to a hurricane on the 5th, and passed just northeast of the U.S.V.I. and P.R. on the 6th and 7th as it continued to strengthen.
- Hurricane in Puerto Rico, September 7, 1997Hurricane Erika strongest winds missed the U.S.V.I. but the outer rainbands caused gusty winds. Sustained winds of 25 mph from the west southwest were recorded at the St. Croix airport with gusts to 29 mph.
