- Dust Devil in New York, July 30, 2014A possible Dust Devil was reportedly responsible for one fatality of a Sky Diver in Calverton. The instructor was injured as well.
- Dust Devil in New York, April 18, 2009An apparent dust devil occurred at the Beekman Country Club in East Fishkill, which lifted a golf cart and knocked it over. This injured two men and briefly trapped them as it flipped onto them. They suffered from minor head injuries.

- Dust Devil in New York, July 28, 2001A dust devil was reported in Northport along Route 25A. About 30 people saw it as it passed over the King Kullen Shopping Center. High winds picked up and tossed shopping cart shelters and downed signs on the parking lot. Wind speeds were estimated at 60 mph.
