- Flooding and Coastal Flood in New Jersey, October 28 to 31, 2012Post Tropical Storm Sandy was the costliest natural disaster by far in the state of New Jersey. Record breaking high tides and wave action combined with sustained winds as high as 60 to 70 mph with wind gusts as high as around 90 mph to batter the state.

- Flooding and Heavy Rain in New Jersey, August 27 to 28, 2011Irene made landfall locally as a tropical storm around 900 am EDT August 28, 2011 over New York City. Irene then moved across Southeast New York and Western Connecticut before dissipating over Northern New England near the Canadian Border later that evening.
- Flooding in New Jersey, April 15 to 23, 2007A Nor Easter occurred during Sunday and Monday, April 15th and 16th. It brought heavy rain that caused widespread and significant river, stream, and urban flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas.
- Flooding and Heavy Rain in New Jersey, April 15 to 23, 2007An intense nor'easter brought heavy rain and flooding to New Jersey that started on the 15th. The worst flooding occurred along the Raritan and Passaic River Basins. It was the worst flooding in the Raritan Basin since Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in New Jersey, August 14 to 19, 2011A series of thunderstorms preceding a cold front dropped three to seven inches of rain across a wide swath of New Jersey (less along most of the coast) from overnight on the 13th into the day on the 14th.
- Flood in New Jersey, June 28 to 30, 2006Several days of heavy rain throughout the Delaware River Basin culminated with major flooding along the Delaware River from the 28th through the 30th. It was the fourth highest crest on record for the Delaware River along Hunterdon County.
- Winter Storm and Flooding in New Jersey, March 2 to 4, 2018A cold front stalled across the region on March 1st. Meanwhile, a wave of low pressure developed along this front in the Ohio Valley and move east, deepening just southeast of Long Island on March 2nd.

Heavy rainfall over 5 inches occurred in these areas.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in New Jersey, July 13 to 17, 2017A hot and humid airmass was present ahead of a frontal boundary which slowly moved southeast toward and then through the state. Several rounds of thunderstorms moved through the region ahead of this front over the course of a few days. 2,800 people lost power in Ocean county.
- Flooding in New Jersey, March 13 to 19, 2010A Nor'easter developed off the Delmarva peninsula which produced an extended period of heavy rainfall across the area as it tracked very slowly to the northeast. This caused widespread flooding across portions of northeast New Jersey.
- Flooding and Coastal Flood in New Jersey, September 1 to 5, 2006The combination of the remnants of Tropical Storm Ernnesto and a large high pressure system over eastern Canada produced heavy rain and flooding, strong and in some cases damaging winds, tidal flooding and beach erosion in New Jersey.

- Flash Flood and Flood in New Jersey, July 12 to 16, 2004During the late afternoon and evening of the 12th, thunderstorms with torrential downpours kept on redeveloping along the Interstate 295 corridor in southern Burlington County and moved east.
- Flood in New Jersey, April 2 to 5, 2005For the second time within seven months a greater than 50-year storm affected the Delaware River Basin and its tributaries. But, this time flooding also extended into the Passaic River Basin.
- Flash Flood and Flood in New Jersey, September 18 to 20, 2004The remnants of Hurricane Ivan interacting with a slowly moving cold front caused widespread very heavy rain to fall during the first half of the day on the 18th in Warren County. Storm totals average 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts throughout the county.
- Flash Flooding and Flooding in New Jersey, September 5 to 14, 2011The remnants of Tropical Storm Lee that interacted with a stalled frontal boundary produced several days with periods of heavy rain across New Jersey from the 5th into the 8th.
- Flooding in New Jersey, January 27 to 31, 1996One to one and a half inches of rain fell on saturated soil and caused flooding of the larger streams and rivers in Northwest New Jersey.
- Flooding in New Jersey, January 19 to 26, 1996The flash flooding of the afternoon and early evening on the 19th led to larger river flooding through the 21st. The worst damage occurred along the Delaware River which crested at its highest stages in most places since the summer of 1955.
- Flooding in New Jersey, April 2 to 4, 2005A low pressure system developed in the Gulf Of Mexico and rapidly intensified as it moved north to northeast. The low passed over the Appalachian Mountains and moved slowly west of the local area during Saturday and Sunday, April 2nd and 3rd.
- Flood in New Jersey, June 27 to 30, 2006Several days of heavy rain throughout the Delaware River Basin culminated with major flooding along the Delaware River from the 28th through the 30th. It was the second to fourth highest crest on record for the Delaware River along Warren County.
- Flooding in New Jersey, March 6 to 17, 2011A slow moving cold front with waves of low pressure that developed along it brought a precipitation event that dropped between 1.5 and 4 inches of water equivalent across Northern New Jersey from the early morning of the 6th into the early morning of the 7th.
- Flash Flood and Flooding in New Jersey, October 13 to 14, 2005Heavy rain associated with a low pressure system southeast of New Jersey moved into Monmouth County on the 13th. Three day storm totals (from the 11th through the 14th) in the county averaged between four and eleven inches with the highest amounts near the coast.
